올 봄 공사를 시작할 서울 종로구 가회동의 한옥입니다. 부모와 한 자녀로 구성된 집으로, 한옥의 고유한 정취 속에 서로의 영역을 가지면서도 단란하게 지낼 수 있는 공간을 고민하였습니다. 전체적으로 동선이 이어지고, 공간이 흐를 수 있도록 계획한 것이 특징입니다. 자녀방과 손님방 사이에 별도의 마루와 욕실을 두어 독립하여 쓸 수 있게 하였습니다. 부엌과 대청마루 사이에 새롭게 가족실을 두어, 가족이 모여 컴퓨터 작업이나 독서, 오락, 휴식 등을 할 수 있는 ‘열려 있는 친밀한 공간’을 제안하였습니다. 뒷마당을 바라보며 목욕을 하는 여유 있는 욕실이나, 여름이면 시원하게 열어 쓰는 대청, 서로 바라다 보이는 부엌과 자녀방 다락 등 새롭게 누릴 수 있는 여러 공간을 만들어 보았습니다.
We would like to introduce a hanok project that is a work in progress.
The hanok is in Gahoe-dong, Jongno-gu and scheduled to break ground this spring. The home is for a single family. When designing the hanok, it was important to apply the mind to a harmonious space with different areas in characteristic atmosphere. Furthermore, it features an overall connected circulation system and a natural flowing space.
The child's room and guest room are separated by floor and bathroom, so that the rooms can be used independently. Also by arranging a new family room between the kitchen and the main floored room, we proposed "an open, cozy space" for computer work, reading books, entertainment, and other leisurely activities. In addition to the new family room, we designed other various spaces and rooms, such as the relaxed bathroom overlooking the backyard, a main floored room that can be opened for gentle breeze during summer, an area where the kitchen faces the child's room, an attic, and so on...
